Synergistic effects of installation of the newly developed MGL SPOOL IV, which corrects thread winding shape with its inverse taper shape, newly shaped line guide, and worm shaft optimised for each gear ratio, make it possible to wind line regularly and in good balance, reducing spool vibration during casting. The combination of SILENT TUNE and S3D, both of which have been retained from previous models, prevents power loss during casting and realises a refreshing casting performance that extends to the limit. The first bait reel to be equipped with SILENTDRIVE, and 3 bearings support of the drive gear shaft provide a high quality and comfortable rotating feeling. The palm shape fits naturally in the hand and the clutch shape allows stress-free access to the spool, so that the series of actions from palming, clutch operation, casting, lure operation, and to pick up can be performed in a fluid manner.
