At the heart of the Extraction rod range is the revolutionary T45 High Modulus Carbon Blank Construction. Crafted with precision, this carbon graphite material combines strength, lightweight properties, and exceptional sensitivity. It enables anglers to detect even the most subtle bites and enhances the overall responsiveness of the rod.
The Fuji K-Series Tangle-Free Guides with SiC Insert are strategically designed to reduce tangles and improve casting performance. Equipped with Silicon Carbide inserts, they minimize friction and ensure a smooth and effortless line flow, allowing anglers to cast their lures with precision and accuracy.
Shimano's dedication to excellence extends to the reel seats in the Extraction rod range. The Spin Models feature the FUJI Graphite DPS Reel Seat, renowned for its lightweight construction and secure fit. For the Overhead Models, the FUJI Graphite PSS Reel Seat with a power screw lock mechanism ensures utmost stability, particularly in overhead and trolling setups.
Built to withstand the rigors of angling, the Extraction rods come with machined aluminium lock nut fittings. These fittings not only provide a secure connection between the reel seat and rod blank but also enhance the overall strength and durability of the rod.
Completing the exceptional design of the Extraction Rod Series are the shaped high-density DURA-EVA handle grips. Made from a premium high-density foam called DURA-EVA, these grips offer superior comfort and feel, ensuring a fatigue-free fishing experience even during extended fishing sessions.
The Extraction rod range consists of 11 spin models designed for a wide range of bait and lure fishing situations from a 10 to 20lb, seven foot spin rod suited to inshore snapper or smaller reef species up north to an 8 foot PE8 topwater rod ready to throw stickbaits or poppers for tuna or GT’s. The four overhead models cover 20-40lb, 30-50lb and 50-80lb rods designed for bait fishing and a PE5 jig rod made for tangling with the most brutal denizens of the deep.
