Top 3 Features in the New Shimano Teramar WC C Series of Rods

With continued angling opportunities along the West Coast, Shimano redesigned the Teramar West Coast (WC) series of rods, so let’s look at the top 3 new features in this dynamic series of rods:

1. TC4 is a dynamic core of T-Glass material overwrapped with a spiral pattern of high-modulus graphite called Techtape. TC4 blanks are specifically designed to achieve outstanding strength-to-weight ratios. The Techtape outer wrap shields the fibers from impact damage.

2. Designed with a high strength and durable frame structure, the Teramar WC C series of rods utilizes Seaguide MRG, XRG & XQG guide trains depending on the rod’s application. This frame material provides better corrosion resistance for saltwater fishing and features a deep-drawn frame to provide better protection for the ceramic ring from impact.

3. A Deck Hand style grip is featured on one model and all the others use Fuji or Shimano custom reel seats to ensure secure fastening of your reels. All inshore models feature cork handles, and all others use EVA handles with diamond-wrap grips.

The Teramar West Coast C series features three spinning and 17 casting models, so anglers from all over will want to check out the new Teramar series explicitly built for West Coast anglers.
