The new Ultegra BX has a new improved blank with Hi-Power X technology. This blank stands out in strength and stiffness and reduces blank twist, making this rods at true casting machine. The rod blank is strong, stiff and yet light of weight. The Hi-Power X blank provides excellent casting distance and accuracy. The 425 models are fitted with Fuji Lowrider Alconite Lowrider guides and Fuji DPS reel seats. The 450 models are fitted with Fuji K-Type Alconite guides and Fuji DPS reel seats. The tip guide of all models is a Fuji Stainless Steel SiC guide. Both lengths come in a tubular and solid tip version. All rods have the Cast Control Grip to facilitate a strong hold when casting.
