The third generation of the Shadow X has been further refined for 2024, now optimised specifically for bait fishing and bait fishing techniques. Purpose built using our latest blank technology and price-conscious components to provide anglers with an unrivalled balance between price and performance. At the core of the 24 Shadow X is an innovative T45 blank, built by rolling graphite tape at a linear 45-degree angle and reinforcing it with two sheets of graphite rolled at opposing angles. This results in the construction of a blank with a light and sensitive tip section that provides exceptional bite detection while allowing unweighted baits to be cast effectively, and a lower section with the strength and durability required for fighting large fish in rough terrain. To ensure reliable performance 24 Shadow X straylining and bottom-fishing rods are fitted with Fuji K frame tangle-free ‘O’ guides, a Fuji graphite reel seat, high-density EVA grips, and a folding hook keeper.
