Designed to fish the deepest waters, using Shimano electric reels, the Speedmaster Deep Drop has spiral mounted guides for maximum action performance. You might think they look slightly unusual, but they really do enhance the action by guiding the line to the underside of the blank. This simple design variation holds the line away from the blank when under compression and maximises the powerful, progressive action by reducing blank twist.



The 1+1 (detachable handle) blank is manufactured from a blend of carbon technologies - Full Carbon, HPC, Nanosheet and Biofibre. This combination not only delivers the immense strength and durability you need when fishing the deepest waters, it also enable the progressive action to compensate for any sudden unexpected pressure increase when fighting fish.
As you would expect from this type of rod, the fixtures are absolutely first class. Fuji guides, an aluminium reel seat and an easy to grip EVA handle sit perfectly on the blank and the guides are under-whipped with silver and red coloured thread for additional strength and cosmetic appeal. There are three models in the range for you to select, all are 6'9" in length and come in 200-600g, 500-1000g and 800-1500g rating.
