The record braking casting perfromance of the TX Ultra is generated by the use of three exclusive SHIMANO carbon technologies: Spiral X Core for torsional rigidity, Hi-Power X for blank twist reduction and a futuristic Carbon Monocoque handle for faster power transfer and improved feel when fish-playing. These technologies also reduce the overall weight of the rod, making it the lightest carp rod in the TX range, which results in increase tip speed when used with maximum casting force and more 'feel' when playing fish, especially at close range.
