Both of these manufacturing processes reduce weight and also blank twist when under pressure, giving the Aspire stiffness and extraordinary power in the lower part of the rod, whilst the tips remain sensitive for bite detection and fish-playing. This is the perfect combination for gaining control of fish when fishing at depth, whilst having the insurance of a tip action to overcome the lack of stretch in your line as fish nears the surface. To complement the top quality blank and guides, there is also a very secure Shimano aluminium reel seat that locks your reel to the rod with complete security to enable powerful cranking. An ergonomically shaped EVA handle, with an aluminium gimbal hidden under a rubber cover, for use with fighting belts, ensures you can apply maximum pressure when required, especially when moving fish off the bottom at the start of a battle.
