The blank of the Technium Deep Drop is manufactured from Full Carbon with HPC (High Pressure Carbon) technology to create a powerful but progressive action. This gives immense lifting power, whilst compensating for any sudden unexpected pressure increase when fighting fish from the deep. To enhance the action of the blank further the high quality Seaguide guides, which are suitable for braid and mono lines, are arranged in a spiral configuration. This simple design holds the line away from the blank when under compression and maximises the rods action by reducing blank twist.
To ensure a rock-solid connection between your rod and reel, an extremely strong and durable Pac Bay reel seat is fitted to an easy to grip EVA handle and the addition of an aluminium gimbal completes the comfortable, practical design.
There are two models in the range, both are 7’6” (229cm) in length and have a 1+1 detachable handle for easy transport. The lighter model has a 500-1000g rating whilst the heavier version is rated between 800-1500g enabling you to get your bait to the bottom quickly and fish effectively in strong currents.
