The increased power of electric reels and the reeling speed of manual reels can cause the rod to twist and shift. The new decagonal cross section of the holding position ensures a secure hold on the rod keeper. During testing, we fought a shark weighing over 100 kg under harsh conditions, using a stationary rod and a manual reel to apply force, but the rod was able to be reeled in without any shifting.

The new reel seat is compatible with the Talica 50II foot. The width of the nut ring and resin spacer has been significantly increased, making it easier to tighten even with large reels and less likely to loosen during a fight.

It is no exaggeration to say that the fighting bottom is the most important part that connects the angler to the rod when fighting a big fish. It is as important as the undercarriage of a car, and if you experience a standing fight with a big fish even once, you will understand the importance of the large force that is applied to the fighting bottom, which is the point of contact between the body and the rod. It is only natural that you should be extremely particular about the fighting bottom, which is the key to a standing fight.

The shape of the previous fighting bottom has been revised, with the belly contact surface flattened and the bottom area enlarged. At the same time, rubber has been added to the bottom to prevent slipping, and the rubber at the joint has been improved to prevent it from falling off, resulting in an evolution into a highly practical power fighting bottom that is comfortable, non-slip, and does not come off.

Bait fishing often involves traveling by plane, which can be a hassle. The Beastmaster Baitcasting Rod comes packaged in a hard case, allowing you to ship and transport it as is. Above all, the most important thing is that when you hook a big one and set the rod on the keeper, it doesn't slip. This is especially important because the blank is strong. If it slips, you have to adjust your position, and that moment of hesitation can cause a big grouper to get caught in a root, or a big amberjack to not be able to reach safety. These few seconds are important.

The holding position around the reel seat and on the rod keeper has changed, so even if you feel like you can't hold the standing H170, it's perfectly fine to just put it down. There's no play in the set reel either. There are probably quite a few people who want to use a manual reel, and if it's out of place, you won't be able to reel it by hand.

The rod is fully solid and made of glass, but it's lightweight. The Chermale is made of carbon and is light, and has a muscle core in the butt, which gives it a sense of security, but the Beast is strong even without it. There's a different sense of security when the rod is left standing. It's the difference in material. The fighting bottom has also been reshaped, making it easier to fight. However, if you're more interested in standing, the Cher might be better, as it's lighter.

The MH/H205 is a rod that you can leave in place. It's incredibly sturdy. You can attach a big weight to it and reel it in as fast as you want. The decagonal holding position ensures that the rod keeper bites firmly.

Also, the tip of the rod was initially a bit too sharp and uncomfortable. It was extremely stiff. If that happens, when you hook a horse mackerel in the chin or nose, the part where the hook is inserted will widen and the bait will fall off. That's why it's made flexible. For example, imagine there's an apple on a branch that's about to fall off. If the branch is hard, you can shake it vigorously and it will fall off, but if it's flexible, it won't fall off.

When I used it at Tokara, it caught GTs of around 35kg and amberjacks up to 17-18kg. It can handle it well, so it easily catches fish of this class. There's still plenty of power left at around 35kg. I think it's good for targeting amberjack, grouper, and groupers over 50kg. It's a rod that can also catch 100kg.
