Furthermore, by adopting a nut for fixing the reel, which is wider than that of the conventional model, rattling of the reel is also reduced. This enables secure setup not only at home or in harbors, but also on boats in a hectic and shaky environment.
SHIMANO's original aluminum seat adopts a sophisticated design to hold the reel firmly even when fighting with very large fish. The parts that hold the reel legs have a flat design for even greater holding power. Also, a resin cushion is equipped to prevent the reel from rattling and scratches, and the nut used to hold the reel has been improved in a shape to make it easier to tighten.
