SHIMANO's original aluminum seat with a new shape that adopts a sophisticated design to hold the reel firmly in place during fights with large fish. The parts that secure the reel legs have a flat design for even greater holding power. In addition, a resin cushion is provided to prevent the reel from wobbling and scratches, and a double nut with cushion is attached to prevent the seat from sagging.

This hold position is made of lightweight, high-strength material with excellent fixation to the rod holder.
It is fixed by double wrapping to avoid problems around the guides when the rod is heavily bent.
HI-POWER X FULL SOLID is a reinforced full solid blanks with the SHIMANO carbon tape construction. The outermost layer of the full solid blanks is reinforced with HI-POWER X carbon tape, and suppresses shaking and power loss due to twisting without hindering the delicate bending of the full solid blanks. This structure will be eliminating the uncomfortable feeling caused by torsion, which is a common problem with full-solid rods, and provides a smooth rod action.
