The interior of the handle knob features the same design as the 25STELLA SW, with enhanced water resistance. It suppresses the deterioration of rotational performance caused by salt, maintaining high durability and smooth rotation even under harsh conditions.
The handle comes standard with a high-rigidity, heavy-duty cold-forged long-crank handle. Synergistic with the HAGANE BODY, it enables direct winding performance with no power loss.
Replace the spool with confidence, even while on board.
To replace the part, loosen the four fixed bolts on the A-side of the main unit (the plate on the handle side) and remove the plate. Since the fixed bolts will not come loose during work, you can replace them with confidence even while on board.

S A-RB bearings are put through the same process as Shimano’s A-RB bearings but feature shields on both sides of the bearings. These shields reduce the possibility of salt or sand inhibiting the rotation of the bearing.
