Customize the drag change with the included light line cam.
OCEA JIGGER LD's drag has a standard cam with a large adjustment range for PE No.3 to No.5 by default, but by replacing it with the attached light line cam, it is possible to customize the drag characteristic to a gentle drag for PE No.1.5 to No.2.5. This setting is suitable for light line fishing where sudden changes in drag force should be avoided.
Achieved weight reduction while maintaining strength
The large diameter drive gear, which supports the drive part, is made of ultra-high-strength brass material and designed to be massive and highly precision. There is no compromise in strength. Furthermore, OCEA JIGGER LD features thinning to achieve weight reduction without losing strength.
A space is provided in front of the perming side to control the fall with the index finger. This allows for thumbing without disturbing the perming.
The handle is equipped with a highly rigid and strong cold forged long crank handle as standard. The hard and sturdy handle body is approximately twice as rigid as conventional handles, and the synergistic effect with HAGANE BODY enables direct reeling performance without power loss.
For the clutch section, a newly shaped drag lever which is hammered by cold forging is used to achieve not only a high quality feel but also operability that exceeds that of the previous model.
