The BEASTMASTER3000EJ is the first reel compatible with electric jigging to be equipped with a Tankenmaru SCREEN using color dot LCD. This is a significant improvement over the previous simple fish-finding function, allowing the user to check the depth of the seafloor, the shape of the seafloor, fish reactions such as school size and fish length (ACCU-FISH®), and the trajectory of jigs and traps on the reel's counter.

*The Tankenmaru SCREEN can be used on all vessels equipped with Tankenmaru parent units. The ACCU-FISH® function is available only for vessels equipped with an ACCU-FISH®-compatible master unit.

EJ mode, which allows the user to select the strength of the jerk from three different patterns.

The BEASTMASTER3000EJ is equipped with a new EJ mode, the Advanced Mode. By selecting jerk strength from three patterns, H (High), M (Middle), and L (Low), the jig's movement can be consciously changed. By selecting a constant reeling speed and reeling time, and freely directing the stop (fall) time, electric jigging that more closely resembles the feeling of hand-wound jigging can be developed.

Each one-jerk shows the distance wound up.

A new feature that displays the distance wound up for each one-jerk is the one-pitch distance display. Compatible with all EJ modes: manual jerk mode, auto jerk mode, and advanced mode. The updated value can be checked on the digital counter of the reel each time it is reeled in. This allows anglers to see at a glance how far they have reeled in a single jerk, dramatically improving the reproducibility of hit patterns.

Gear system with ball bearings for amazing durability.

The system has been greatly strengthened with ball bearing support for the reduction gear to achieve amazing durability, and the synergistic effect with the GIGA-MAX MOTOR provides unprecedented strength, speed, and stability in winding up. Together with the brushless motor that boasts high durability, this reinforced gear system is designed to provide long-lasting performance.

EJ mode, the hallmark of jigging-compatible models.

In addition to conventional EJ modes such as manual jerk mode and auto jerk mode, BEASTMASTER3000EJ is equipped with a new advanced mode. By selecting the jerk strength from three patterns, H (High), M (Middle), and L (Low), the motion of the jig can be consciously changed. The H setting makes the jig fly hard by reeling it in strongly, while the L setting makes the jig fly slowly by reeling it in weakly. A new feature is the one-jerk distance display, which shows the distance reeled up in one jerk. This allows the angler to check the value updated with each reeling on the counter and reproduce with a high degree of accuracy the hit pattern created by a regular one-pitch jerk.
