The MicroModule Gear technology creates a smooth retrieve by utilizing smaller teeth to increase the number of contact points between the drive gear and pinion gear.

X SHIP provides improved gear durability. By supporting the pinion gear on both ends with bearings, the pinion gear maintains precise alignment with the drive gear. This increased support allows the gears to stay in the same position under the heaviest loads. X-Ship technology also eliminates the friction between the spool shaft and gear to further benefit anglers with enhanced casting performance and casting distance of lighter lures.

The HAGANE Body is a metal reel body with high rigidity. The body rigidity and impact resistance virtually eliminate body flexing on the reel while fighting a fish. The result transforms the angler's actions directly into cranking power,

MGL Spool III is the low inertia spool that desined with thin spool wall keeping the durability, This contribute to improve the casting performance, quick response, long distance, cast feeling and castabillity.

By applying slight pressure to the bearing holding the spool, SilentTune reduces the vibration of the bearing during high-speed rotation. This improves the quietness while casting and the rise of the spool rotation becomes even smoother.

DC brake system perceives the changing spool speed and controls brake power with microcomputer, and provides the cast-performance of long distance and anti-backrash. Internal dialing allows anglers to select from 4 modes: XB (Big Bait to Metal Jig Mode), P (PE mode), N (nylon mode) and F (Fluoro mode). In addition, anglers can adjust the eight levels of braking force on the external dial for each mode.XB volume 5 or higher has improved lure control by reducing big-bait rotation during casting.

S3D SPOOL leads to significantly reduced spool vibration. This creates an smooth feeling when casting.

S A-RB bearings are put through the same process as Shimano’s A-RB bearings but feature shields on both sides of the bearings. These shields reduce the possibility of salt or sand inhibiting the rotation of the bearing.

SUPER FREE SPOOL reduces friction on the spool shaft during the cast and enhances casting performance.
