Tapered wire for both toughness and vibration! Heavy duty model to attack deep range!
SWAGY STRONG uses tapered wire for both toughness and improved vibration transmission. The lower arm is designed with a thicker wire diameter to suppress the extension at the time of hooking and improve the hooking rate. The upper arm is designed with a wire diameter that easily transmits the vibration of the blade to the rod.
When the SWAGY STRONG comes into play!
The original SWAGY model was suitable for fishing up to 1m depth with 3/8oz and up to 2m depth with 1/2oz.
The SWAGY STRONG is suitable for searching farther and deeper than the original model. Specifically, the 5/8 oz model can be used up to a depth of 3 meters, while the 3/4 oz model can be used consistently at depths of 4 meters or more.
Almost all conventional heavyweight spinnerbaits have a silhouette and volume that increases as the weight increases, but the SWAGY STRONG allows the lure to be passed through deeper ranges and longer casts without changing the silhouette or volume.
The double-willow model also makes it more resistant to floatation, making it effective for highly active fish in summer reservoirs that have fallen into the deep range with bait, and for fish that are aware of the bait but very serious about tracing the lure's range in late fall turnovers.
The lure's high stability can also be applied to a variety of other field conditions, such as fishing in the heart of a current in river fishing, or on a super fast retrieve when fish are not seeing the lure on a normal retrieve.
Basic usage and curve roll techniques for catching fish
Like the original SWAGY series, the basic retrieve is enough to lure fish, but for deeper range fishing with spinner baits, we recommend the use of the lure and blade baits.
The spinner bait can be used to reach the range where you want to trace it.
When you sink the lure to the range you want to trace, instead of dropping it with no tension, quickly take up line slack after landing on the water and let the lure fall while rotating the blade while applying line tension. This can bring fish that are in suspension or at a shallower range than the retrieve range to bite. The SWAGY STRONG, with its heavy head and high spinning blades, is a lure that can be easily made to curve and roll.
The SWAGY STRONG can be used on retrieves in the deep range, but by intentionally combining this kind of curve roll, it can be used in a wider ranges, conditions, and fields.
