Constructed using the Melt Cross technology, the OCEA Jigger MX4 is not only highly resistant to rubbing, it is also highly sensitive. The line is wrapped in a special film after braiding which is then heat-shrunk to melt the surface, making it more resistant than conventional braided lines.
Adoption of IZANAS® ultra-high-strength polyethylene fiber
This PE line uses IZANAS®, an ultra-high-strength polyethylene fiber produced by Toyobo Co. The fiber is approximately 8 times stronger than piano wire and has a moderate modulus of elasticity.
