This is a spool guard exclusively for SHIMANO reels. This is a special case for storing the spool removed from the reel. The body part is made of impact-resistant material to reduce scratches and shocks to the reel. It comes with a clear holder so that you can easily manage it by inserting a tag for the reel size and line number.
Thick synthetic rubber is used to protect reels from impact. Since it does not allow water to pass through, it is hard to get wet and easy to dry.
Write the reel size and line number on the clear holder, and you can quickly retrieve the spool you want. A loop is also attached to the back of the lid so you can attach your own tags.
A special hook shape is used to prevent the hook and loop fastener from losing its effectiveness even when wet, such as when exposed to waves
