The Bantam Macbeth Flat is a compact floating lure with a flat profile and fits perfectly into the Bantam lure range. To improve casting distance and accuracy it is fitted with Shimano JET BOOST moving weight technology.
The flat body, large front lip and head-down position of the Macbeth Flat produces quite a compact wobble when retrieved at a constant speed, or a wide aggressive lunge when jerked with sharp, rapid movements of the rod tip. With a diving depth of 1.6 metres, when you pause the retrieve the controlled buoyancy suspends the lure in the strike zone longer than other highly buoyant floating lures, as it slowly rises to the surface. For increased casting distance, accuracy and stability, Shimano JET BOOST is built into the Macbeth Flat and you will definitely appreciate this on windy days when you are punching the lure to its maximum distance. Macbeth Flat works really well when you have to cast very accurately to fish-holding structure, especially in cross wind situations.
