With relatively sensitive tips and hidden reserves of power, you can safely use the Carp Cruncher for many species, whilst using surprisingly light tackle, safe in the knowledge that you have the power in your hands to control powerful runs and surges associated with hard fighting fish.
The Full Carbon blank of the Carp Cruncher also benefits from the inclusion of Nanosheet. This is one of the reasons why the Carp Cruncher is so versatile. The advanced carbon materials enable the tip to safely be made with great sensitivity, whilst still retaining the strength required to fish for hard fighting species with confidence. Available in three lengths to cover most still water and running water float fishing styles, the longest 13’ (3.96m) model has a casting weight of 20-50g enabling larger than normal floats to be used without overpowering the rod. The high quality cork/EVA handle is fitted with a custom designed DPS reel seat and all models are fitted with Seaguide Hero XQG and XOG guides for lightweight strength.
