The STC Dual Tip is designed to give as many permutations as possible. Each rod has two tips, which creates two different casting weights with different lengths. This is the ultimate rod for anglers who like to explore new venues or travel, but do not know exactly what to expect.
As soon as you pick up the STC Dual Tip you’ll immediately understand the brilliant concept. Fit the strongest tip and you have a powerful 2.10m rod suitable for casting your larger lures and fighting powerful fish. However by fitting the softer tip, plus the additional section that comes with it, you have a longer 2.40m rod that offers additional casting performance and a more forgiving playing action. If you are the type of angler who is always fishing new waters and wants to take advantage of any opportunities that arise, the STC Dual Tip is for you.
The STC Dual Tip is made from a brilliant combination of High Modulus Full Carbon plus Nanosheet. This creates the lightness and power that you can immediately feel in both models. But it is the twin tip design that really makes this rod stand out. By creating special tapers for the two tip section, the designers have made two rods in one, with minimal compromise.
There are two models available in the range, a lighter version for more traditional lure fishing (7-21/14-40g) or a powerful version for heavier lures (20-50/50-100g). Both models are 2.10m/2.40m in length. To complement the stunning blank, the STC Dual Tip has an abbreviated cork handle, Fuji DPS reel seat and single leg Shimano Hardlite guides.
A classic multi-purpose rod, ideal for the travelling angler fishing either fresh or salt water! Supplied with two tips, here you have a rod with which you can fish at two different lengths, using a wide range of different size lures, or baits. Boat anglers might prefer the shorter option which offers sufficient power to fight strong fish in deep water, while shore anglers might prefer the great casting potential of the longer version? At the end of the day the choice is yours but perhaps best of all, should you accidentally break one of the tips you’ll be able to continue fishing with the second.
