If you fish from a small boat the shorter lengths give great control and are easy to handle, but if you prefer to fish from larger charter boats you’ll appreciate the extra length of the 3.00m model. The composite telescopic blanks of the Alivio Tele Boat give it the strength and robustness in the lower part of the rod to maintain full control when bottom fishing, whilst the fibreglass tip provides the sensitivity to spot bites. All models have a weight rating of 150g (5oz), with the shorter models being easy to handle for inexperienced anglers, whilst the longer models offer excellent fish control when fishing from larger boats. Fitted with Shimano Hardlite ‘braid-safe’ guides and a versatile Shimano DPS reel seat, the Alivio Tele Boat also has a rubber butt cap for comfort if you prefer to play fish with the rod locked into your body.
