Talica
Pre-Installed L.R.S. Style Drag Cam
Smooth drag is very important and one that Shimano prides itself upon throughout the product line. Talica is no exception to the rule. However, being able to fish 3 to 4 line classes heavier than you would normally on a reel of its size makes Talica more fun to fish since you spend less time fighting your tackle and more time fighting the fish. Pre-installed with an L.R.S. (Long Range Special) style drag cam, which is designed to provide maximum drag output for heavy settings with heavy line, the Talica Single speeds are specifically designed for fishng heavy PowerPro Hollow-Ace with short Flurorocarbon topshots. The 8 & 10 sizes will fish 50 pound PowerPro Hollow-Ace with ease, while the 12 & 16 sizes can utilize up to 100 pound Hollow-Ace!

Tyrnos 2-Speed
The Tyrnos 2-Speed expands on the popular Tyrnos line, with selectable Power or High Speed gear ratio. Rip jigs fast, then put it in low gear for fish-fighting strength. Because two sets of gears are always meshed, changes can even happen under load, and the lever drag system provides easy, on-the-fly adjustments.

Tyrnos Drag Levers
The TYR1216LEVER fits TYR12 and TYR16. The TYR2030LEVER fits the TYR20 and TYR30. These drag levers easily install with no tools. They change the drag curve from the standard heavy curve that was designed for braided line and high settings to a curve designed for 12# to 20# Monofilament and ideal for Sailfish or Dink applications in the Southeastern U.S.
By changing the drag curve, lighter settings can be obtained for these monofilament lines without the risk of the preset backing off due to vibration or the reel going into freespool early.
